Snuffy goes to the Vet

We have had Snuffer for two weeks now and it was time for a booster shot. So the whole gang jumped in the car and headed down the road to the Vets office. Rambo and Willow went first. Rambo needs to have one of his front teeth pulled because it is badly broken and could get infected. He also needs to lose 1-2lbs. Just more to love. Willow has plaque so we are supposed to brush her teeth. Ha. That's going to be a challenge.

Snuffy did really well. I thought maybe she would yelp or whimper when they shot her up, but nothing. She was actually wagging her tail through everything. The tech gave us several pamphlets for take home and de-worming meds and we were all done.

Then everything changed. It was about three hours later at noon when I noticed something wasn't right. She kept shaking her head like something was crawling in her ears. I tried helping her but then I saw her lips! Pink and swollen. I then felt her lumpy ears. My poor baby was having a reaction to her vaccines! We raced back to the office and they quickly gave her a steroid and benadryl shot. Immediately she felt better. Now all is better and she can just be a puppy!
